This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Each of these books has just gotten bigger and bigger。 This one being 706 pages long， however I still loved it。 This one starts where book 3 ended， with Fortuna being held captive in the Seelie Court。 There is a lot that goes on in this book。 Torture， fighting， escapes， making a bond with a vampire and a werewolf。 Fortuna eventually sleeps with Laurie while still being in love with Collith， even though she denies it and wants to hate him， but you can tell she is falling in love with Laurie as we Each of these books has just gotten bigger and bigger。 This one being 706 pages long， however I still loved it。 This one starts where book 3 ended， with Fortuna being held captive in the Seelie Court。 There is a lot that goes on in this book。 Torture， fighting， escapes， making a bond with a vampire and a werewolf。 Fortuna eventually sleeps with Laurie while still being in love with Collith， even though she denies it and wants to hate him， but you can tell she is falling in love with Laurie as well。 There are so many other magical creatures that get introduced in this book。 As well as trying to beat an unknown opponent， a fair bit of this book is spent in the Dreamscape with Oliver。 Here she must fight magical creatures her mother used to tell her stories about when she was a child， in order to reach hidden childhood memories。 Oliver stands by her side and he is fiercely loyal and protective of her。 Again we are left with a cliffhanger ready for book 5 which is hopefully out December 2022。 。。。more

Omg this was amazing！！！ This was already one of my favorite series so I definitely didn’t have low expectations going into this。 But wow this exceeded every last one of them。 I love where the rest of this series is going and i’m so excited i have no idea how im gonna make it another year waiting for the next book to come out。 My ratings definitely aren’t objective and for me the thing that turns a 4 star book into a 5 star book is usually not based on how well written or ‘good’ a book is but mor Omg this was amazing！！！ This was already one of my favorite series so I definitely didn’t have low expectations going into this。 But wow this exceeded every last one of them。 I love where the rest of this series is going and i’m so excited i have no idea how im gonna make it another year waiting for the next book to come out。 My ratings definitely aren’t objective and for me the thing that turns a 4 star book into a 5 star book is usually not based on how well written or ‘good’ a book is but more whether or not I really LOVED it。 Which I absolutely do with this one （KJ Sutton has me crying over these characters literally sitting on the couch together watching a movie） but I also just think this was book was just so well done。 I love the writing style and I feel like it perfectly fits with the story and genre。 The story is fast paced to keep you on your toes and not get bored （even though you’re reading a FAT book） but it’s not too fast where it feels rushed or there’s isn’t enough focus on character and the important quiet moments。 Anyway， I already grabbed my kindle to read the other adult fantasy book the author has written so consider my a fan。 Lastly I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the LGBTQIA+ rep in this series。 Almost every single character is really fucking queer in the most casual way， like how it’s not even really mentioned （which I mean in the best way， since it makes it that straight is not the default）， is just the best thing ever！！ 。。。more

Didn’t think I could like a book in the series more but KJ did it。 Wow it was great， amazing， speechless。 I am torn between both love interest， and love Fortuna even more。 Cannot wait for the next two books ❤️ ⭐️Recommended this series to anyone who loves found families， enemies to lovers， love triangles， witches， faeries， mythical creatures， enemy courts， self discovery。 🌙There are trigger warnings in the front of every book。 I recommended reading those before beginning each book。

The last book I thought Fortuna was selfish and made childish decisions。I think I actually dislike her completely。 She doesn’t feel trustworthy to me， doesn’t think through any decision， and seems to half heartedly love these men in her life。Unless we’re being set up for a reverse haram （which I highly doubt）， I’m tired of her endless resistance to trusting those around her。Am I going to read the next book？ PROBABLY。
